As I mention later, I think that Veronica Mars is my favourite series on CW right after Smallville. But it looks like it just may be canceled. I have followed the news stories wondering what exactly is happening and when the next episodes will air.
The season (and potential series) finale of Veronica Mars will run for two hours on May 22, 2007. We’re assuming this is simply Episodes #3-19 and #3-20 aired back to back.
With a few things hanging over the series’ future like a shadow of impending doom, we hear from Kristen Bell herself that she is not as optimistic about the series as she was in the past.
Add to that the two of the popular supporting characters Piz and Parker are slated to appear in new TV Pilots that could lead to new series in the fall. Both of these shows are on different networks than Mars.
As you will see in an earlier article I posted today, Veronica Mars is not definitely canceled, but it may face a complete revamping before CW allows it to continue.

Damn! I like Veronica Mars… and Kristin Bell isn’t bad to look at. I hope her career continues so I and others like me can enjoy her.
Sad if true. I think the series started too high - the first season had Veronica and her father so invested and involved in the main storyline.
Latest I heard is that Season 4 could be with Veronica either at the FBI Academy or a graduated field agent.
i am hoping the show continues in some form or another just as long as they have veronica and keith in the show that’s all that matters.
if it is cancelled altogether though that is bullshit because it is the best show on tv and it’s not like CW has a lot of great shows at their disposal
Goodness, lol. Joey came along and took my name again! haha, jk, all good. But it doesnt matter if the show is one of the best. Ratings matter. Jack and Bobby, a show I loved, got cancelled far too soon because of ratings, even though raved about. Same as Everwood, its sad.
I’ve always felt that Veronica was a Chloe Rippoff.
the rumour is that if it returns it may be set five years later and she is an FBI agent….thats what I heard on the tv guide podcast…..
they need to do something - this last season has been nowhere near as good at the first 2….
someone needs to get a post up about 24…..talk about a show falling in quality…this is the worst season ever…..
