If you are a celebrity and you are approached about making a guest appearance on the Simpsons, you might want to take their offer.
THE SIMPSONS creator MATT GROENING has issued a warning for celebrities who turn down parts on the show - they risk being ridiculed in future episodes.
The hit TV show has had a glittering list of celebrities appear in cameo roles, including Bob Hope, Kirk Douglas, Elizabeth Taylor, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, Sir Paul McCartney, Sir Mick Jagger and Keith Richards. But Groening admits he still gets annoyed when a star turns down a part.
When recent negotiations to cameo Bruce Willis, Schwarzenegger and Stallone on the show, an agreement was not met, so instead the writers are going to slam the beefy trio’s Planet Hollywood franchise restaurants in parody.
Take THAT you snobby celebrities! If you will not play along, we will eviscerate you in fiction!

I think that the Simpsons creator Matt is very childish if he does that! I like the Simpsons though and I look forward to the motion picture.

Matt, I hear what you are saying however I don’t see how it is unfair for him to poke fun at someone when he legitimately approached them to make an appearance and he gets rejected?
He cannot directly make fun of people by name, but he can spoof them. And it isn’t like the Krusty/McDonalds parody is affecting the golden arches any more than 7-11 and KwikiMart.
Its all in fun. But the warning is there (half tongue in cheek) if you reject Matt, he may have a little fun with it anyways.
