If you are anything like me, then you just can’t wait for more HEROES. Heroes airs tonight with one of the last episodes before the season break to return in the fall. Nothing new, all shows seem to do this.
But on top of all the online content they are offering up, Variety reports that we will see more Heroes on TV this summer:
“Heroes: Origins” will air in “Heroes’” Monday night time slot when that smash hit takes a hiatus. The net has ordered six segs of “Origins,” which, combined with “Heroes,” makes for 30 hours altogether.“Heroes: Origins” will center on characters not yet seen on the original show. Peacock has also added an interactive element to the show: Viewers will be asked to pick their favorite character from “Origins,” who will then join the cast of the full-blown “Heroes” skein the following year.
Now this has me pumped up something serious.
I can’t wait to see what the masterminds behind Heroes are coming up with for us to see in next season. The powers we have seen so far are pretty tame (though their uses are potentially destructive) so I wonder what we have yet to see.
Personally, I am waiting to see Sylar turned to a good guy and actually help the Heroes stop the bomb (clearly not Sylar’s intention - but Linderman’s), but I am not holding my breath. Sylar has shown remorse in his actions and though twisted, he has some sort of motive or standards to taking these powers. He has no desire to hurt innocents for “no reason”.
My wife and I came up with another idea, and thought since Sylar has so little control on his new powers, it would be interesting to see what he could do if he managed to absorb the Hatian’s power blocking powers. Would he inadvertently block his own abilities and effectively shut himself off?
Now I am all pumped up to see tonight’s episode.
Thanks to Bitterguy for the heads up on this article!

Now THIS is interesting!
I’m a Heroes devotee myself, and I’ve rarely seen a T.V. series go THIS far to appeal to its fanbase. You know what? They should do this after every “official” season, that way the fans will be able to be able to influence the flow of the show to a certain degree.
This is nothing but good news. I can’t wait to see what happens next.
