I think this one will definitely make its way to my DVD collection. 50 deleted and extended scenes? Never-Before-Aired 73-Minute Premiere Episode? How did that not get aired?? Holy cow!
Most Complete Season sets just give you the Episodes and some behind the scenes featurettes. Nothing much. But this sounds like they are actually making it worthwhile to get the series even if you have been a devoted watcher since the beginning.

Are they referring to the actual pilot episode? Thats odd if it wasnt aired, it sets up a lot. Maybe it was a different episode that I am thinking off. Great post Rodney
The 73 minute episode, is an alternate pilot, it was later recut. So its not an episode they just never showed, they just recut it and did a few things different.
Is this even that good of a show? I saw the first episode because of sparked interest from the promos, but I turned it off because I thought it was corny and boring. Does it get better as the show progresses? Is this Lost, The Sopranos material?
It is pre-ordered. AS forthe pilot i have seen it. There is one huge thing in it regarding Isaac the painter that they changed to the aired one and i am glad they did
Is it “that good of a show”?
Its won many awards and is some of the best writing on television today. John and I differ on our favourite tv shows, but HEROES is the one that we have in common.
It’s incredible. I suggest getting this first season (or watching reruns and Heroes:Origins this summer) before the season picks up again in the fall.
