		<description>a little anticlimatic??it was terrible

this finale to heroes was one of the most disappointing and lamest season finales ever put on screen?
seriously...it was awful.

I had had my ups and downs with this show over the season.....for the most part i enjoyed it although I have often wondered why i am compelled to watch a show that can be so bad so often but i got hooked.....but after this finale fuck this show. awful awful awful.

....that future episode a few weeks back imagine if that had been the finale? that was a great episode but this...clare jumps out of the window and runs away...um nathan didn;t think to fly down and grab her back?

last week peter satrted to go nuclear and for soem reason controlled and then it happens again out of the blue purely because the writers needed it too and he can;t stop it ...so many lazy lazy inconsistancies.....

everything led up to that?? the entire season led to the lamest hero vs villain "final confrontation" type fight ever..all the heroes fianlly converge in one setting and they just stand around there...wouldn't it have been much better to seem them all team up and kick the crap out of sylar....wouldn't it have been cooler to see them do something apart from stand around and gawk? plus characters did things purely because the writers needed them, too rather than it making any sense...... peter and sylar have these awesome powers and the battle that had beenn hintyed at and rteased to us all season comes to what ...sylar gets hit with a fucking parking meter and peter punches him with fists........it confirmed what I had suspected for a long time - they have no cluse how to do action....in the episdoe set 5 years in the future (which was amazing i admit) sylar and peter are about to fight and what happens? thjeir hands glow they walk towards each other and they close the door and we do not see the fight...ok i thought..they are saving the good stuff until the final (which they didn't) and when hiro and peter arrive at the building and hiro says "should I transport us" peter says "no i haven't had a fight in ages" i thought cool..we are going to see peter all badass and what happens???
no fight no nothing..just some stuntmen thrown out of frame..lame lame lame

anf the final confirmed it..they don't know how to do action..and spare me any "its tv what do expect they don;t have huge budgets" crap that other people are giving..24 manages to have decent action every week......other shows manage it...buffy the vampire slayer had better action than this thing.....

it was awful and the show can get fucked as far as i am concerned...I will never watch it again. it was a joke.

oh and to add insult to injury they rip off the end of evil dead 2 since i guess they had ripped off enough from all over the place one more rip off source wouldn't hurt anyone.....

and now they are going to let the viewers decide which characters are in the show like some lame hero idol bullshit. thats because it is written by some of the worst writers around and they are incredibly lazy...what next at the end of eachg episode we get a message "text A if you want peter to go left....text b if you want clare to jump into the boat"

HRG is the only good story arc in this show......

You want to see how to do a series finale go and watch the final of lost this season. i don't even like the show.....they totally lost me (pun intended) mid season 2...i have watched on and off this season and started gettting a bit hooked over the last 6 or 7 episodes and then the final blew my mind.......I seriously think it might have been the greatest cliffhanger season finale I have ever seen. totally amazing.and it is not back until 2008. damn.......

<description>This was a weak season finale. So anti-climatic. No huge fight and a terribly predictable ending. Definitely could have been a lot better especially the fight between Sylar and Peter. It seem really simple and diluted for all the build-up it took to get to this point.

		<description>Oh, and by the way?
The Japanese warrior-guy that Hiro encountered in the past? His father of course! I'll bet you that's Georg Takei behind that mask, it certainly looked like his eyes.

<description>Read the comments, but I was really unimpressed with the climax. The lead up was great, but the final battle was WAY too snoozefest. With that many abilities and people involved, the ending should've been so much more entertaining. Oh well.

I didn't catch Sylar flipping through his list of conquests. I'll have to re-watch that part, along with the part about with the HOT shape-shifter. I must've missed her talking about being larger.

I think both Peter and Nathan live. Nathan can't regenerate (at least from what we know) and for Sylar to take on his power, he'd need his brain. There's five years to go before we know Sylar is Nathan, or whatever. Peter can regenerate himself, but I doubt that's how he gets his scar. Seems a little to straight for it to work as anything other than a cut.

I hope future showdowns show us more powerful scenes. With all of Peter's and Sylar's abilities, the ending of season one, really killed the motivation I had all season.

<description>Just a thought: The events that we got a glimpse of when Hiro travelled to the future - where Sylar had taken Candace's powers and made everyone believe he was Nathan - could still happen.
That could also mean that Peter is still alive - and that we have the answer to how he got his scar (despite healing-powers). He simply couldn't heal all the way from the nuclear blast.
So, "Nathan" could return (but it could be Sylar) and then become president.

<description>It seems from the close up of Sylar that he does 'gain' the power as such, but examining the brain he can modify how his own works on the fly. His eyes showed him switching through people he had killed in order to find a power that could assist him...

I 'assume' that Sylar was using another power at the time when Hiro turned up, and didnt have time to flick to something that could stop him...

...thats just an assumption, but it explains what he is doing with the brains...examining them to see what makes the abilities "tick" (he's da man with clocks), filing that info away in his brain, then flicking through them. Would explain why we havent seen him using more than one power at one time...I guess...I dont know....TELL ME DAMN YOU, TIM KRING...

<description>Rich, allow me to offer my take on your concerns. Not saying I am right but in these situations I had similar thoughts.

"I also found it silly that Sylar can see Hiro coming from that far away, with all that yelling and leading up to, and then still get run through with the sword."

Perhaps deep down Sylar wanted to be stopped. This was hinted at in an earlier episode when he attempts to call for help with a sudden crisis of conscience.

"Nathan flying in to save the day was way cheesy." I liked Nathan saving the day like this in that it wasnt the "love with change everything" and have Peter suddenly calm down and turn off the nuke when he sees his faith in his brother restored. It was redemption and a way out.

"Nicki knocked out the mind-shifter girl, and everything changed to normal, shouldn't the mind-shifter had turned into a heavier person?" The shapeshifter is crafted in deception. Her image, her illusions, everything. Why not her words. I just thought the "im really fat" hint was another deception. No one knows for sure what she is up to and she wants it that way.

<description>Has anyone ever read "The Time Travelers Wife"? (incredible book by the way) Basically for the main character, he is tied to certain people, so typically when he time travels (he has no control over it) he ends up looping around them in some way. I think you can say the same for Hiro. When he is concentrating and using control over his powers, he can focus to where he wants to go. When it is random however, he ends up in familiar places and times, just without realizing and/or planning it.

As for the finale, I thought it was very good, but ultimately I felt unfulfilled. The best part was when they were all together, and battling Sylar, but it seemed over before it began. I also found it silly that Sylar can see Hiro coming from that far away, with all that yelling and leading up to, and then still get run through with the sword. He should have been able to stop that.

Another point for me, was Nathan flying in to save the day was way cheesy. I wish that could have been handled better. But then it may be more the actors fault than the writers. His delivery on his lines was pretty bad. Pasdar is usually better than that.

And lastly, when Nicki knocked out the mind-shifter girl, and everything changed to normal, shouldn't the mind-shifter had turned into a heavier person? She seemed to hint to Mica in earlier eps that she didn't look the way she appeared to everyone, and that she was much heavier, which is why she was eating all the time. Did anyone else catch that?

Sorry, these are nitpicky things, and overall I really enjoyed the episode and love the series. Just little things I felt could have been executed better.

<description>Heroes Origins will run during the new season of Heroes starting in the fall. It could either run during the breaks of Heroes starting in the fall when reruns would usually play, or they will go after the season.
Origins will not be on this summer.
