I agree that Alex and Ava were really good together, I hope the writers pursue it next season, and I too hope that they find some way to make the whole Meredith/ McDreamy thing more interesting. This season, it was just forced drama, especially after she drowned. I just kept wishing they would pretend it didn't happen.
