Sure series 3 hasn’t ended yet, there’s one more big episode to come, and though I do hate spoilers I do want to know for sure if David Tennant is returning as the Time Lord.

In this from Down Under (soon to be my new home)News.com.au says: David speaks coyly about series 4, and the shoes his co-star Freema Agyeman had to fill.

“The thing is if we all say how long we are staying, it takes all the suspense out of it. We are trying to keep it as mysterious as possible about who or why may not be there at the end of episode 13. So, series four has not started shooting yet and no one knows who will be in it . . . It’s a thriller, you shouldn’t know who is going to survive.”

Will he be back next series?

I think so, people have really embraced his turn as The Doctor, and I think he should stay with the show for a series or two more yet before retiring his cons, he just instills so much enthusiasm, sheer joy and wonder into his performances. This is a man who loves his work. I think he may be around for a bit longer.
