If you didn’t watch the Children In Need Special on your Series 2 DVDs go watch it right now. These short little ten minute mini-episodes connect Series 1 to 2, and apparently there is one coming to join Series 3 and 4.

And this time, it includes a meeting of the Doctors! Well two of them.

The Sun, a UK periodical, who has previously suggested Ben Kingsley will be appearing in Series 4, and started casting rumors for Tennant’s replacement, as well as revealing that Joan Collins (wtf?!) will be showing up as well, have now come out and claimed that this year’s Doctor Who bit for their Children In Need special will feature Tennant’s Doctor meeting up with a former self…Peter Davison’s Doctor.

“The Doctor is forever travelling though time so there’s no reason why he couldn’t catch up with a former incarnation. Peter was top of the writer’s list to make a comeback.”

While I think this would be cool, something involving more than one Doctor’s regeneration needs to be spaced over the course of an episode or two, not relegated to a tiny 10 minute blurb.

What do you guys think?
