Take a peek at Samantha Who?
It’s about time! I’ve been waiting for prime time to steal amnesia from daytime soaps for YEARS. So, in my excitement I’ve gone straight to the candy shop that we call the internet and coated myself in the sweet milk chocolate that we call Samantha Who?
What’s that ABC.com? A synopsis?
If you could start over, would you do things differently? Could you do them differently? Can people change? Or are we just… who we are? These are the questions our heroine asks, as she begins the long, comic process of starting over from scratch — fixing old mistakes, reconnecting with her not-so-loving family and rediscovering love. While friends yank her in different moral directions… afraid of the “old Sam” returning…”
I can only think of one thing after reading this; how long can this last? But then my “Sitcom Third Eye” opens up. If this show makes it through it’s first season, there will probably be an episode where she somehow regains her memory, and it’s going to take the combined efforts of her friends and family to knock her on the head hard enough for her memory to go away again. Mark my words. This show has the feels like a more grown up version of a show on TGIF from years past, and believe me, if you like sitcoms, that’s a good thing.
Don’t shove this show to the side, I mean look at shows like Ugly Betty, that show looked like garbage, ended up getting 2 Golden Globes. Just remember, TV is different than movies, most of the time the commercials for a new series make it look awful when it’s pretty good. I remember LOST looked terrible! Go ahead and check out ABC’s site for some early clips, they definitely get me excited, I love wacky sitcoms!
