This week on Entourage
On this week’s episode of Entourage, Billy Walsh is up to his old tricks, Ari needs a miracle, and Eric may have bitten off more than he can chew.
Here’s the skinny from HBO.com:
Ari receives Billy’s script for Vince’s next project, but Billy’s interpretation is vastly different from the adaptation he was commissioned to write. While Ari scrambles to keep the studio interested in the project, Eric is busy managing some domestic issues between his new client and her needy boyfriend.
I really think that Billy has gone from eccentric to complete and total lunatic! Yet no matter what he does, Vince has this blind faith in the writer/director’s abilities, and a bizarre sense of loyalty to a man who could have, at any point, completely ruined Vince’s career.
I was thrilled to see the return of Ari Gold: Superagent, the true hero of the day, taking a completely disastrous turn of events and spinning it into – well – GOLD! It’s always entertaining to see his interactions with Dana Gordon, and his vulgar musings about their past. He’s at his finest as an agent. He knows that his client’s career, and potentially his career, are in jeopardy, and breaks out the big guns, drive and manipulation, to get his way.
There’s been a noticeable strain in the Eric/Vince relationship, and it’s been even more evident since Eric landed a new client. Eric is MIA through the entire Lost in the Clouds/Silo crisis, and it brings up a couple of questions. When it comes right down to the dollars and cents, does Vince really need Eric? And will Eric be forced to choose between Anna Faris and Vince? There is potential for a rift between Eric and Vince, but as I mentioned before, Vince’s sense of loyalty to his friends is a big part of who he is, so even though it could get messy, in the end, I think friendship will win.
This is episode is definitely a turning point. Vince has seen the most career action of the season, we still don’t know what will happen with Medellin, and there’s the obvious attraction between Eric and his new client. With two episodes left in the season, anything could happen!
