Pauley Perrette will get a jump on her NCIS co-stars this weekend when she joins John Walsh on the season opener of America’s Most Wanted. Aparently, Perrette was moved by two cases she saw on AMW and decided to help bring the killers to justice. Movieweb.com reports:
Like millions of other TV viewers, Perrette is an avid watcher of FOX’s crime-busting series. “I’m the biggest America’s Most Wanted fan, and always have been,” she says. “I talk about it all the time.” But an AMW broadcast this past spring prompted her to do more than talk. The show included stories about the unsolved murders of two young girls, Raven Jeffries in Detroit and Shannon Paulk in Prattville, AL. Perrette has family in Prattville, and her boyfriend is from Detroit. She saw it as a sign. “I couldn’t stop thinking about those two little girls and also how strange it was that it was Detroit and Prattville, his family, my family. It could be my niece, my family, it could have been anybody. It could have been anybody’s kid.”
Perrette has donated $10,000 to the reward for anyone who can provide information that solves these crimes.
The new season of America’s Most Wanted (with Pauley Perrette guesting) debuts Saturday September 8 on the FOX network. NCIS returns for it’s 5th season Tuesday September 25.
