If there is one good piece of news for this TV viewer it’s that Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen will make its fourth season debut a few months early. James Hibberd reports on the schedule shuffling at FOX over on his blog at TVWeek says:

Tuesdays: “American Idol” has its two-hour season premiere as planned Jan. 15 at 8 p.m. Starting Jan. 22, “Idol” will scale back to one hour and “House” will fall into the 9 p.m. slot. “Hell’s Kitchen” will take over for “House” April 1.

Hell’s Kitchen is traditionally a summer show for FOX and it does extremely well in that capacity. Since FOX had already reported that they had ordered two additional seasons of Hell’s Kitchen (to stretch into 2009) as well as another year of Ramsay’s other show Kitchen Nightmares, we will all make it through the impending rerun “Hell” (I had to get it in one more time) a bit better!
