Smallville’s Chloe Goes Legit

As the only main character not in original canon, Chloe Sullivan has had her fate tested more than any other character on Smallville. Now, according to Comics Continuum she is getter her place in Superman lore.

Chloe Sullivan, a character created for The CW’s Smallville television series, will be appearing in the DC Universe for the first time next spring. Chloe will be Lois’ cousin in the her DCU version and will likely debut in April’s Superman #675.

Chloe has always been my favorite character on Smallville (though the Chloe/Jimmy stuff is getting old). As a lifelong Superman fan, Chloe is closer to what I always envisioned a young Lana to be than what Smallville’s Lana has become. Allison Mack is also one of the better actors on the show, which adds to my enjoyment of the character. Allison and John Glover (Lionel Luthor) have consistently been the strong performers and elevate the enjoyment of any episode.

I for one am glad that Chloe has received her long deserved place in DC history. Am I off base? Should she have been left in the Smallville universe?

Heck no, she shouldn’t be left in the Smallville universe. I had very little knowledge of Superman canon when I started watching Smallville and was surprised to find out Chloe wasn’t part of it. It’s awesome that they’re putting her in the comics.

The real question is whether or not the Chloe in the comic books will be a Meteor Freak or not!

:( I hate Chloe! She can’t give Clark a straight answer, instead she keeps babbling and say something cocky that doesn’t help one bit! I would’ve broken her neck if I was Clark!! I also thinks that the actress playing Chloe is damn ugly!!! I can’t stand her on screen!! This whole thing about “meteor freaks” is pathetic and stupid!
