I know, K.I.T.T. is a Trans-Am, not a Mustang. Knight Rider was 80’s cheese, and Team Knight Rider was worse. But hey, we gave Battlestar Galactica a chance. Here, again via the automotive blog Jalopnik is the video of the second teaser.

OK, so the new K.I.T.T.’s a Mustang GT500KR, right? And it’s got all these great standard features, right? 550 horses under the Cylon-like hood, race-tuned suspension, Xenon headlights with infrared, military satellite access, and all the rest. But where’s the turbo boost, eh? Seriously — that’s all we want — a little bit of turbo boost. Is that too much to ask for? We don’t think so.

I may just be hungry for NEW television, or maybe it is 80s nostalgia…but I want to give the new Knight Rider a chance. I hope it is more Battlestar than Bionic Woman. You never know.
