The first new My Name Is Earl in a month aired tonight and it was a good one. It was called Bad Earl, so you can gather from that title Earl was not his usual kind and helpful self. I don’t want to get into spoilers, so I’ll leave it at that.

But, this brings up the question, what would the show be like if Earl gave up his list? Could it survive without the premise? If Earl stops being ‘Karma’s bitch’, would the show still be intersting? If Earl is “bad”, then he’s not a sympathetic character. Thoughts?
