The odd part is, they’re not suing him for money, according to TV Guide:

NBC has sued Law & Order creator Dick Wolf, seeking no monetary damages but instead asking the Los Angeles Superior Court for an interpretation of a contract provision that both sides have been disputing since September.

I find it interesting that contract negotiations in Hollywood have gotten so heated these days. They’re having to call in a judge to decide who is interpreting the contract correctly? That seems like a pretty extreme step.

Law & Order has been a pretty interesting tale lately anyway. First NBC puts the new episodes on USA, then they pull them back to NBC to fill gaps in their schedule. Sometimes it seems like the L&O star is finally fading, but then it seems like it’ll go on forever.
