Therefore, sadly, I did indeed cancel our HBO subscription... I absolutely dig "BIG LOVE", but after nearly a year of 'NOTHING'... It was time to shave that money off the satellite bill and put it back into our bankbook... I am terribly sad and disappointed that the writers strike had taken sooooo long... Because now, what are we to do??? Waste more money on a subscription just to be left hanging in the learch while HBO decides what they are going to do, and when to air the next season’s episodes... It is very sad, but HBO waited toooo damn long to satisfy 'THIS' customer... 'BIG LOVE' was the sole purpose of us having the HBO subscription anyway... I dislike their programming very intensely... In fact, one might say I 'HATE' their normal programming!!! The one and only program I have ever felt compelled to pay HBO for the privilege of watching is indeed 'BIG LOVE'... AND, YES.... I am angry at the amount of money that I have flushed down the toilet in hopes of 'BIG LOVE' being returned to US, it's followers... I could have done many other things with that money. Instead, I chose to waste it on an HBO subscription in hopes that 'BIG LOVE' would be put back on the air... Sucks for me!!! However, what I did decide on doing, after I cancelled HBO, several months ago, is as follows: I am going to order ‘BIG LOVE’S’ season's one and two... Then wait for season’s three, and four, and five, and so on, and so forth, to come out in their ‘SEASON # ????’, boxed sets. It will be at this point that I will order every season of ‘BIG LOVE’, past, present and future in this same manner... The absolute best part of this is????? I will get to watch whatever episode, from whatever season, whenever I wish... No more monthly debt going to HBO and/or a satellite company.... Best of all???? I will be saving money by doing so! ‘I WILL HAVE MY CAKE AND EAT IT TOOOO!!!’……………………….. Well there you have it... Thank You for letting me rant a bit, but I am quite sure that some of you feel the same as I... Honestly, I do hope that HBO will soon be putting ‘BIG LOVE’ back on the air, so those of you whom choose to wait it out will finally be rewarded with season three... Then My Fellow Addicts of 'BIG LOVE!'... You Will Stop Jonesing For Your ‘BIG LOVE’ FIX…. TEE-HEE, but I am only half kidding!!!! If every other show can get there rear's in gear to air there newest seasons so can Big Love!... It's bad enough there wasn't even at least re-runs to watch. Though there are many viewers out there that obsessed with this series, including myself. HBO is doing nothing to keep the consumer watching.. With there competition pushing out new series/shows they are losing there subscribers to other channels!! I own the first 2 seasons on DVD. But like many other people... you can only watch them so many times before you are BEGGING for more!. If HBO doesn't get there heads on straight they are going to lose alot of viewers. If it wasn't for Entourage to be honest there isn't much more that HBO is offering for myself at least. The movies aren't new...Todays age is all about Drama & Reality shows. Or in the case of my husband.. lol... boobs & women. Once he seen some of what Big Love had to offer he was even watching! Same thing with Sex & The City. LOL I guess my point is.. HBO waits to long... there audience will have moved on and before you know it people will be like " Hey you remember that one show... what was it called??... Oh! Big Love..??? I wonder what ever happened to it.." Just something for you big wigs working for HBO to think about. Okay, enough is enough!
