Addison will be spending some time at Seattle Grace this spring thanks to the strike-imposed hiatus of Private Practice. The Hollywood Insider has:

The redhead is back at Seattle Grace! ABC has confirmed that Kate Walsh, whose freshman show Private Practice is on hiatus until fall, will return to Grey’s Anatomy as Dr. Addison Montgomery for one episode this spring. Executive Producer Shonda Rhimes is still fleshing out the script, so there’s no word yet on when Walsh’s episode will air.

As much as I adore Kate Walsh and enjoy her character, I wonder if having her on Grey’s for even one episode is the right thing. I thought the show moved on from Addison, and Addison from the show. Unless maybe they use this as an opportunity for closure (which I thought they already had), I don’t see this working. Thoughts?
