I was cautiously optimistic about the quality of Terminator when it debuted, but the show has grown on me. With such a strong start to the series, it would be a shame if this was it. Fox isnt’ known for giving expensive SciFi shows a chance. According to ET Canada, “Sarah Connor Chronicles” will be back next fall.
Sarah Connor Chronicles ends its strike-shortened first season Monday, March 3 with back-to-back episodes, but it will be back in the fall. In a season with more misses (Bionic Woman, Big Shots, Cane, etc.) than hits, the show is a bona fide contender. It has pulled down 24-size numbers in 24’s original time period, and like Arnold Schwarzenegger’s titular character in the original Terminator film, it will be back.
The article has a very interesting interview with Summer Glau. In it she addresses the criticisms surrounding Cameron’s behavioral changes since the pilot, along with the challenges of playing a terminator.
I consider the criticisms I have of Terminator simply growing pains. It has started to develop into a very good series, with well thought out character development. The addition of Brian Austin Green has given the show more conflict, which is always good.
Is Terminator coming back a good thing? I think so.

It’s a very good thing. I wasn’t sure about the show at first but it’s grown on me.
I agree with CW05!
Summer Glau are beautiful, cute and sexy at the same time!
Not many people are.
I have also warmed up to Glau; I think Lena is hotter though.
Last week’s ep, though….I know they had a budget crunch and all, but damn, that episode pissed me off. I don’t mind recasting, but why the hell did they make Dr. Silverman a end of the world kook and interrogator? The writing, how that was handled, that was poor. The Glau Termie walking away from dudes commiting a double murder however was…interesting.
About Brian Austin Green: he’s grown as an actor, he’s the big surprise of the series thus far.
Yeah, BAG really unexpectedly strengthened the series. I was really surprised, and thought I wouldn’t like him.
I didn’t mind the change of the doctor. I’m starting to see this series to be a little like Smallville, where it is related, but not necessarily in cannon.
I think the writers strike sucked for all of us.
