“Carnivale” was a low rated masterpiece shown on HBO a couple of years ago. One thing that made it amazing was the performances by the ensemble cast. Two of those cast members are making their way to Seattle Grace. TVGuide has the story:

Meanwhile, Madigan’s former Carnivale co-star, Clea DuVall, will fill the “everywoman housewife” role I teased in last week’s Ask Ausiello. Her George Clooney-esque husband will be played by Jason O’Mara…

Adding new blood to Grey’s is a good idea, even for short periods. This is injecting new talent without the stunt casting that some series fall into. Both actresses are amazing, and I’m always personally impressed with DuVall.
