Veteran Jennie Garth is returning to TV for CBS in a new pilot, “My Best Friends Girl”. Popcrunch has the story:

Jennie Garth is returning to television — in a CBS pilot called “My Best Friend’s Girl.” Jennie Garth was last seen on TV on “Dancing with the Stars” and the sitcom “What I Like About You,” costarring Amanda Bynes.

In “My Best Friend’s Girl,” Jennie Garth will play ex-wife to one character (played by Josh Cooke) who dates his best buddy (played by “Carpoolers” Tim Peper). Let the hilarity begin.

I enjoy Garth, but wasn’t fond of her last show (”What I Like About You”). Hopefully this one will be a little less formulaic and we can enjoy Jennie again.
