There was much ado when Sarah Wayne Callies decided to unceremoniously leave “Prison Break”. They must have worked out their differences as Sarah will be coming back in Season 4. Ausiello has the scoop at TVGuide.com, here are some excerpts:

So… I take it that wasn’t Sara’s head in that box….
Matt Olmstead
: Yeah, that wasn’t.

But initially it was supposed to be her head. What changed?
Olmstead
: What changed was…. once we realized that the emotional hook of Season 3 was going to be the death of Sara, when we didn’t get the actress to do it, as soon as we wrote it and shot it, we realized that there was actually a way she could still be alive. Lincoln glanced at the head in the box for a split second. That could’ve been anyone.

How much time will have lapsed?
Olmstead:
About a month. Enough to jump past expected events that we left hanging at the end of Season 3, answering those things, but also moving forward.

And Sarah is onboard for the entire season?
Olmstead
: Yes.

Now it’s not such a surprise that Callies came back to film the flashback in the season 3 finale. I understand the creative and business reasons for the Sarah character being ‘killed off’ last season. Both sides made mistakes, and it appears they are trying to remedy that.

I only hope that her return works within the story. Being a “Prison Break” fan requires certain leaps of faith, but Sarah’s return could be a little to much. Thoughts?

Yes it is too much bringing back sarah BUT the show is better for it because her death felt very cheap, she knows the guys but not too well. To make it work she needs a reason to be around and not just a damsel in distress.

btw anyone know if the end of season 3 has been or will be shown in australia soon?

  2. Jon Says:

I agree her Death was kind of quick, but bringing someone back from the dead is always a mistake, and unoriginal.

  3. Doug Says:

    Stupid and pointless.
