Tricia Helfer is a integral part of the BSG success. She’s a talented actress who’s constantly given difficult situations to perform in. She’s now making plans for her post Galactica career as The Hollywood Reporter reports:

“Battlestar Galactica” co-star Tricia Helfer has inked a talent holding deal with Fox Broadcasting. Under the one-year pact, the actress will star in a series project for the network, probably a drama.

Unlike Katee Sackhoff, Tricia hasn’t taken any high profile gigs since BSG started. The mere style of her character ( abortion in Baltar’s head) must be difficult to play. She’s a great actress I’d love to continue to see on television. Her performance as Gina Inviere was close to Emmy winning (IMO).

What are your opinions of Helfer?
