Moonlight hasn’t been renewed for a second season yet, and its band of devoted fans have come up with a cleaver plan to change this fact. According to TVGuide.com, Moonlight fans have started an online pledge drive for a blood drive in an effort to get CBS to renew the show. TVGuide.com reports that:
YouChoose.net, a hub for the effort, claims more than 4,000 pledges to donate a pint of blood have been received to date.
I think this is a great idea to catch the attention of the CBS execs and make them realize how beneficial to the country it would be to renew this show.

Yay, another pointless campaign. How many times do I have to say it. If you want a show to remain on air, send the company money, not peanuts, or blood, or whatever. Petitions and stunts do not work. Only dollars work.
While I agree with Jon that I’m tired of the ridiculous campaigns to keep shows when they really should be sending money to sponsors or buying a sponsors products (if the show was sponsored by Planters, then buy nuts…but otherwise? Oi).
But at least this one is doing something good for humanity, so I’ll give it a pass. More people need to donate blood anyway.
