William Katt is a name most of you know, but you don’t know you know. He played a superhero in the 80s on the show with likely the most memorable and singable theme song ever. Greatest American Hero. Well he is getting ready to face heroes again, but this time without the red spandex!

Dose.ca says:

Katt, who was briefly famous in the ’80s playing superhero Ralph Hinkley on ABC’s The Greatest American Hero, will once again be dealing with superhuman powers - though he will not be flying away on a wing and a prayer. In an interview with Newsarama, 57-year-old Katt confirmed that he will be appearing in the third season of NBC’s Heroes but will not have any special powers.

I loved this show because Hinkley was just so useless as a hero. He was so unlikely to be this savior of mankind.

I especially liked it when the aliens came back to check on him and found out he wasn’t using the suit to its fullest abilities. They gave him a manual and he learned a complicated phrase to become super tiny. Then he dropped the book while saying the phrase to make him big again and the book stayed small. Oops.

But it will be interesting to see him so much later. He is closing in on 60! God I feel old.
