Careful What You Wish For Starbuck

Category: Battlestar Galactica

Battlestar Galactica's Katie Sackhoff has been a busy girl. Not willing to settle for Battlestar, Katie has other projects on the go. First of which is a tv movie scamming on the 13 going on 30 fast forward in your own body routine.

TVSquad reports:

Katie Sackhoff, who plays/played Starbuck on Battlestar Galactica will star in a TV movie for Lifetime called Be Careful What You Wish For. Sackhoff will play a teenager named Sara Jacob who is sent twenty years into the future after an eclipse where she discovers she's married the boy she's had a crush on since preschool.
Apparently this is the long haired version of Starbuck and she actually wears makeup and looks like a girl.

I have always found Starbuck attractive because I find physically toned and fit women to be sexy (but not the bodybuilder types that look like men) but there is still the other side of that coin where I want to see pretty colourful feminine girls too.

Can Katie be both?

Katie will also appear in the pilot for the reimagined Bionic Woman too.

There is a website out there with a petition to save Katies genitals. I guess people liker her as the tough badass more.

No this isn't going to work at all. I really can't see her playing a girly type role. Despite the fact that she is a woman, I will always see her as one of the guys. This isn't to say she isn't attractive, but she plays that townboy billy bad ass role so well (so good in fact that she's in a direct to DVD film with Don "the dragon" Wilson that takes place in a sci-fi setting, where she plays a marine of some sort.) I can see she's trying to expand her horizons and show her acting range, which is fine. However because of her superb job on BSG it's really difficult to see her play any other type of role. And yes Rodney, we love her much better as a tough bad ass. Bionic Woman sounds perfect for her, a lifetime movie? Not so much.

I dunno, I think it is important for actors to at least TRY to break out of type. She is a very good looking woman, but we only see her as Starbuck, her most obvious role.

Personally I would watch her scrape burnt toast for 30 minutes every week.
