Fresh Faces on Grey’s Anatomy

With the turnover of a few cast members (Isaiah Washington and Kate Walsh), it looks like we’ll be seeing some new characters on Grey’s Anatomy next season.

AOL says:

Executives tied to the show say the fourth-season plan is to add several cast members, including at least one fresh-faced new intern: Meredith Grey's half-sister Lexi (Chyler Leigh) will become a frequent presence with a multi-episode story arc. They are also seeking a new recurring male character to compete with Patrick Dempsey's Dr. McDreamy.
I’m very excited to be hearing this. I was hoping to see some new interns and hopefully they will bring a new dynamic to the show and introduce more characters for us to love. I’m glad to see that Lexi will be on for a while because I want to see that storyline developed. I am not so sure how I like to see a rival for McDreamy to vie for Meredith’s affections. Their relationship is screwed up enough without adding another guy into the mix, but new blood could bring some life to the show.

I dont think that adding a male character to compete with derek's mc dreamy over meredith's love and affection will work.all of the viewers like the derek and meredith couple and to tell you the truth it's the best couple in the series, even if there would be a new guy it is still better and people will love to watch grey's anatomy more if in the end it would still be derek and meredith as a couple in love, living happily ever after. It would be better if the new guy character be paired with cristina or izzie in the series to have a more exciting story.Having meredith's half-sister would add up spice and bring more stories to talk about.derek and meredith is the best couple of all.
