T.R. Knight fans can rest easy. Although it was left up in the open whether or not George would be returning on Grey’s Anatomy because he failed the intern exam, it looks like he will be coming back next season.
Entertainment weekly says:
According to one insider close to the negotiation, Knight has agreed to a new contract that will boost his per-episode salary to roughly $125,000 and give him a small piece of the show profits (pay hikes and profit points were also granted to many of Knight's co-stars, including Patrick Dempsey, Ellen Pompeo, and Sandra Oh).I have to say that is good news. I love George and wanted him to return. I am also pleased to see him getting a pay hike. Patrick Dempsey, Ellen Pompeo, and Sandra Oh don’t make the show. All the actors should be getting raises. What is disappointing is that Katherine Heigl never got the pay raise that she was hoping for next season. Where’s her love?

I can't believe Heigle didn't get a raise. Izzy is my favorite character and frankly the whole George Izzy thing is the most interesting plot going on in the show.

Same here, I couldn't imagine the show without Heigl. She definitely deserves more credit for Grey's success than she gets.
