Canadian Idol Executive Producer Doesn't Get It

Category:

After the disgusting tonguelashing by Canadian Idol Executive Producer John Brunton, I must admit that my enthusiasm for the show died a little that day. For those who have not read the extensively covered story, well at least in Ontario, TV Guide gives us his less than professional comments.

MSN.ca reports:

John Brunton is hopping mad, and he’s letting Canadian Idol viewers in Toronto know it.

Idol’s executive producer released a statement this afternoon, ripping lackluster Idol voters in Toronto for allowing three competitors from the city be eliminated last night.

When did community pride start winning out over talent? And when did it start becoming acceptable for the Executive Producers to start blasting viewers of the show for NOT doing what the show clearly is NOT about??

Not one of the bottom four do I disagree with going home, lets face it, they stank! I also have problems with his statement in some further regards, there are eight contestants from Ontario, only five are from Toronto specifically, and only TWO of them went home!

Maybe it's true what my father said, the people who make all the money have others who do the work for them, including simple math.
