Entourage Season4 Episode 5

Category: Entourage

This week’s episode of Entourage is destined to become a classic on so many fronts. Not only was it the episode that Lloyd really had the chance to shine, and Eric finally opened a can of whoopass on Billy, it may have created a new catchphrase, “I’m bugging out!”

Here’s what HBO.com had to say:

The Medellin trailer is leaked on YouTube, and an enraged Billy blames Eric. In an effort to appear younger, Drama gets a scrip for a medical-marijuana facility...so he can purchase the club's stylish cap. Ari and Lloyd attempt to sabotage a deal with a longtime foe so that Vince can get his next project.
I was thrilled that the cocky Vince has reappeared. He’s confident that Medellin will be a success, and his drive has returned with news of a potential project, Into the Clouds, on the horizon. I really loved the build from when Snoop Dogg first tells Vince and Eric about the Medellin trailer on YouTube to Eric attacking Billy.

I admit, I cheered out loud for E, for doing what I’ve been hoping for since they were in Colombia. Billy has moved from eccentricity to pure insanity. His paranoia over Eric trying to sabotage the project has consumed him, and his obsession with the film (and possibly Vinnie) could not be clearer than his new tattoo. This episode marked the return of Dana Gordon, which could only mean Ari’s threats to exhibit the infamous Cabo slides in order to get what he wants from her – Vince as the lead for Into the Clouds – have returned as well. Ari’s not going to let Heath Ledger or Josh Weinstein stand in his way.

He and Lloyd embark on a “stealth adventure” to replace Heath with Vincent. This is where Lloyd really makes his mark and shows how truly valuable he is to Ari. Lloyd is instrumental in convincing Josh that Heath doesn’t want the role, and injected new life into Brokeback Mountain humour. In his continued pursuit of youth, Johnny seeks the holy grail of trucker hats, and becomes a member of a medical marijuana club. He ends up hosting a game of “Smoke or Strip” in his trailer with cast and crew on his TV show, sacrificing the purity of his body (which he takes such pride in) just to prove he’s still worthy of a Tiger Beat cover.

To top it all off, just when Eric thinks he’s nearly rid of Billy, Ari lets him know that not only has Vince landed the role, they want Eric to produce and Billy to direct – the Medellin Dream Team. This was a jam-packed half hour of entertainment, worth watching at least one or two more times.

Hell ya!

This episode was fantastic, as it had everything you were waiting from from all of the characters:
Ari's conniving; Lloyd's ASSistance (LOL); Eric's boiling Irish blood; Vinnie's cocky "I'm gonna win no matter what" look at life; Billy's insanity; Drama's weakness (his lack of confidence); and Turtle's quiet "just do the damn drugs and the world isn't so bad" demeanour. I loved it. It's great to see Dana back, too, and I for one would love to see those Cabo pics!
