A little more NCIS

Category: NCIS

No sooner did our last NCIS article go up asking questions about how behind the scenes changes would affect the show when TV Guide posted articles on that very subject as part of their print and online coverage of the new fall season.

In general, NCIS seems to be a happy set. Scripts are now completed on time meaning that sets can be built and production can commence on time. Daily shooting has reduced from 16 hours a day to just 12 due to the new efficient management.

TVGuide says:

"This season feels different because, as you know, there's been a change of administration. And I think it's been a healthy one," says David McCallum, the 73-year-old showbiz vet who plays medical examiner Donald "Ducky" Mallard. "Things are terrific [this season], We started at 7:30 this morning. Last year, we would have started at 7:30 tonight. There was always a certain degree of chaos, but it's all gone now."
Sounds a lot like good things are happening in Leroy Jethro Gibbs Land. In additional news, word is out that we may see Gibbs’ third wife in an October episode and a series recurring character will meet his/her fate around the same time.

I for one am stoked. Bring it on!
