To those who weren't able to attend Comic-Con, the CW Network has decided to cut together some interviews and other footage from the convention. They posted it to their official website the other day, and you can find it here.
Of course, most of you have probably seen a lot of the amateur videos taken from the panel, but it's interesting to see the network's spin. Particularly because most networks suddenly discovered Comic-Con last year, and now they are cluing in to exactly how beneficial a solid launch at the convention can be for their fall seasons (witness Heroes on NBC for example.)
Click here for a YouTube directory of related videos. I'd recommend checking it out - some great fan questions with Kevin Smith's (Director of the Pilot) entertaining responses.
In recent years, this kind of adoption of the internet and "geek" culture would never have happened. However, The last year and a half have been very interesting for the relationship between the studios and the online community - and I have a feeling this is just the tip of the iceberg.
What do you guys think? Are they just wooing us to screw us at the end of the first date? Or is this the first kiss that leads to a solid relationship for many years to come?
