Survivor China - The Contestants

Category:

What do a Pro Wrestler, a Lunch Lady, a Chicken Farmer, a Grave Digger, and a Pro Poker Player have in common? No, there not all people I'd rather be. Well, some are I guess. They are all contestants on the newest installment of Survivor, Survivor: China which begins Sept. 20 on CBS.

Who's the favorite at this point? I'm a mild wrestling fan and it'd be neat to see Ashley the wrestler win but she'll get voted off right away because everyone will think she's already rich. Same goes for the Poker Player. I'll check out all of the individual profile videos on CBS.com and get back to you with my official pre-season pick.

Also, I do think China is an interesting place to have Survivor. CBS is playing up the angle that it's historic to be taping a television show in China. That might very well be but that really doesn't mean much to me. It just sounds like a different type of place to host it. I'm still waiting for the cold weather version.

Check out the videos on CBS.com and get introduced with all of the Survivor contestants!

I too, am awaiting a cold weather version of Survivor. It's just the punch that the show needs to make it new again. China is also a break from the norm and should be interesting but 39 days in a cold environment just as the seasons are changing would be the ultimate survivor. I can see a shivering Jeff Probst saying "I'll go tally the votes...to hell with that, I'm gonna go burn 'em!"
