It’s official – Entourage will return for a 5th season, as reported by Variety.com. Here’s a snippet of the article:HBO has picked up quirky musical-comedy series “Flight of the Conchords” for a second season and “Entourage” for a fifth.
Both shows will return in 2008, likely airing back to back, as they do currently. It's unclear if “Entourage” will again have a supersized season, as it did this year. So we don’t know how many episodes have been ordered, or a start date as of yet, but it’s pretty certain that it will be airing alongside the surprise hit comedy series The Flight of the Conchords. The Emmy nominated Entourage has now become the second longest running series currently on HBO.
With Season 4 approaching its finale, what would you like to see happen in Season 5? A trip to Nova Scotia to film Silo? A celebrity wedding, perhaps? Let me know your thoughts.

I am willing to bet that Season 5 will bring something good to the boys in the realm of "E's" subtle and forgotten connection with Peter Jackson. Maybe a re-edit or touch up, or else it will totally dominate the box office and then all the studio's will be knocking down the door for the film they walked out on.
But there is no way Billy is going to be hired for a while and it probably means that after the box release of Medellin, Vincent will go and do a movie for Peter.
Whatever happens I'd like to see Chealsey Handler, David Cross, David Douchovney, French actress Emma Decaunes, Robert Downy Jr would be great. I'd also be happy to see something in the world of Horror Film. And most ultimately, even though I know this is stretching and probably no shot but a strange David Lynch Appearance would be amazing if done right.

jusst finished watching the final episode of season 4....drama is in fact the man ..nd ari's wife is type slamming...sucks dat the boys movie didnt do good but its all good...silo shud be there hit nd they'll prolly get triple times the offers tha were made for medellin...good season boys...nd to a better 5 season...

Season 5 will rock, but I predict Eric will play a much more significant role in managing Vinnie's career. We'll probably see Walsh get the boot. We'll see Drama's career take off. And we'll see Turtle be Turtle, and Ari work more hand in hand with Eric. Who knows? Maybe Ari will promote Lloyd and give him Drama as his first client, and sucker Dana Gordon into signing Walsh into her next project! LOL

The season 4 finale, was AMAZING. Drama is the man! I just hope his little floozy wont make her way into season 5 because we all know what happens when someone has a GF... bad things, atleast for the Entourage boys. I do want to see turtle hook back up with that one chick NuNu. lol. I fuckin love entourage the best show on tV, and the only show I watch. Great Show

I really hope in season 5 that one of the other guys get a celebrity girlfriend like MAybe anna farris can come back and be E's new girlfriend or something.I also hope that they change thier mind about Silo and Listen to Ecuz he was right that medellin sucked and i think He;s right that silo will suck as well. Vince should take more advice from E or he may end up like Ben Affleck.
Posted by: THe FReeKY YouNG oNE™ at September 6, 2007 04:58
TFYO!
That last line was f*ckin' funny!!! And it makes me think if sometime in the future episodes, Vince and Eric would actually collaborate and "win an Oscar for writing". Things that make you go "hmmmmm"...
Posted by: GODFATHER at September 6, 2007 22:21
Hopefully Vinny will start listening to Eric considering he was pretty much right the entire time about Medellin and told everyone to sell it(but nobody listened). I think Eric might feel like people don't take him serious enough. Incredible show, incredible writing and I hope it NEVER ends. When the hell do we get full hour episodes?

LOVE THIS SHOW. I live for this show. Very disappointed that I have to wait until 2008 for the next installment. I want turtle to hook up with a hot celebrity that brushes Vince off and goes for him.... he deserves it. May this show live on forever. Mark Walhberg is a legend and is hot as hell. Good luck for the emmys guys ... you have my vote.

how bout this scenario (new twist to the show)
start off season 5 with the boys reminiscing about life back in Queens NY like high school or elementary and there was this real shy asian kid they use to be friends with until they moved out to hollywood... the asian kid becomes this big hot shot stockbroker back in NY and decides to go look for the boys in hollywood because of headlines for aquaman and medillin and now wants to fund every one of the boys next moves...
i am an entourage addict i have to get my dose every sunday here in NY

Hmm... I wonder if Mr Jeff YONG from NY is trying to MarySue himself into the show as the asian kid who became a big time NY stock broker.
I doubt they would make things that easy for the Entourage gang. In one episode they go from struggling and making it one step at a time to suddenly getting a free ride from an old friend who happens to be swimming in money? Too easy. Not interesting at all.
Sounds more like a lame ending to a cancelled series. And they all live happily ever after with their dreams tucked under their arms. Freeze-frame on the fist pump in the air as you role credits.

This show could possibly be the best show ever. It captivates its audience every episode and they know which music to play every episode. Does everyone not realize that every episode they keep it real and never sell out. They play the best music with a edgy feel. This show is awsome and deserves all seven emmy's its nominated for.

Season 5 of Entourage will begin filming in February or March of 2008. The new episodes will air starting June 2008.
Doug Ellin is currently working with new writers to bring fresh episodes.
Ideas for Season 5:
1- Billy Walsh goes into seclusion after Cannes
2- Harvey's studio is able to recut Medillin and it becomes a hit. People go at first out of curiousity, but it ends up begin great.
3- Vince makes Clouds instead of Silo or another big budget movie.
4- Turtle's girl comes back, as does Jacqueline (Drama's girl) - both of these are confirmed facts
5- Eric will take on new clients regularly - some he will keep and some he will lose
6- Vince meets a girl- either a rock star or tv star - who isn't blown away by him. They have a love/hate thing going on in the beginning
7- Eric and Vince complete over a girl who Vince used to date when he first went out to Hollywood. She is Ari's cousin, and she actually is the one who told Ari to check Vince out in his commercial
8- Vince and Eric decide that, in the interest of their friendship, Vince should get another manager.
9-Turtle's music management business takes off
10-Drama gets nominated for a People's Choice Award for 5 Towns

What can be expected and Possible Sceneros For Entourage Season 5:
Let me just say my favorite moment so far in the entire series of Entourage was the fight in the Vegas Bar with Seth Green and his posse. I am praying for return of Seth Green as Sloan's boyfriend. Sloan said that, "She met someone." However, don't rule out the possibility that 'He' might be Seth. We all know the sheer battle royal madness that went down when Seth uttered those faitful words, "I busted Sloan in the face like a Jackson Pala't." (refering him giving her a cum shot facial as seen on blue man group... and apparently a Jackson Pala't is an artist who uses art with 'lots of splatter.')P.S. If you watch that episode Turtle's face is priceless when. A bring back of Seth Green and his "wack" Jager drinking posse would be awesome, but far-fetched... but please god let it happen!
Character Predictions:
1) Vince is not going to find love in this season. He is going to concentrate more on his career and less on girl friends... just girlfriends. He still gonna be fuckin' just like he is on just about each and every episode. He will also be confronted with the issue of E as his manager. E is going to experience success with his "Eric Murphy Group" and actually build a group.. not just Vince. Expect friction with E's new goal and Vinnie's career. At the end of Season 5 vince will be nominated for an Oscar, but not get one... E will.
2) E actually lands a high profile girlfriend. We all found out that Vinnie's kryptonite was Mandy Moore. Now it's E's turn to fall head over heals in love with some one... again. It would have happened with Ana Farris, but E spilled his guts out about Silo to her when they were having a glass of wine together... proving once again that he can't mix business with pleasure. Expect another romance gone bad from E. Also, expect something big with his future meeting with Peter Jackson. We could see a Mediene get fixed an be a smash hit in the box office... not Aquaman numbers... but good. Then if he pulls a video game deal with Peter Jackson expect fireworks, jealousy, and many four letter words from our man Ari. E will get an Oscar for Fixing Mediene.
3) Drama's show 5 Towns gets cancelled and he gets fired or for some unseen reason. Drama's been acting overly cocky lately because of his new found success. This is making him feel more valuable than Turtle in the "Entourage". Something is going to happen to him to bring him back down to his old worrying self. This won't happen until the end of season five though.
4) Turtle will smoke more weed and a lot of it. Turtle will pick up any of Vince's scraps that Vinnie does not fuck. Anyone who thinks Turtle is not an important part of the Entourage has gotta be on meds. He has social and business connections from managing Saigon, which is shown when Turtle convinces Kanye West to fly them to Cannes. Expect something big from our man Turtle one of the days he actually puts down the bong.
5) Ari will land Vince an A list movie with A list actors. Ari will be Ari. Yelling, firing, being a dad.. all that shit. Ari will get banned from the school his son Jonah now goes too. He'll try to take a swing at the school principle Andrew Preston.
6) Billy Walsh will break down, cry, and even plead for E's help to fix Medine. So far this Billy Walsh shit is making Vince less and less of a celebrity by the day (esp. in Season 4). Billy will swallow his pride for one episode and listen to e's suggestions. Not before another fight/ squabble. I am also predicting that Billy will attempt a suicide or OD on some sort of drug... but obviously survive.
7) I want to say Llyod will have enough of Ari's shit and quit his job, but Llyod is too funny and likeable of a character to have that happen. Maybe he'll quit and then get hired back?
I myself am curently unemployed, which is why I have the time to spend on pointless shit like this... hope you liked it.

I would like to see a like more success from the "Entourage". In my opinion Season 4 where kind of depressing. I say think bigger. We can all agree that Medillin was a bust. So lets just say that there success isn't coming from Medillin. I would like to see Vince do a project that is going to push him back to where he was when he did Aquaman. Ari needs to step it up and E needs to stop be such a pussy and pull his weight. I would like to see more of a twist to espisodes and for God sakes guy make the episodes an hour instead of a half hour.

Entourage is the best show ever... i love it. keep the episodes coming, never stop

I think it's finally time in season 5 that Drama shows off his cooking expertise. Maybe Wolfgang Puck could invite the crew into his restaurant Cut at the Beverly Wilshire where a bunch of the episodes are filmed, and have him cook for the Night after loosing a bet to Puck, or some kind of draw in to get him in the kitchen.
Maybe they'll call me, since I'm a Restaurant Manager to help on the show.

i would like to say, like a few others that entourage is the best show on television. i love football games and i never miss one, but if a new entourage episode is on football is off. i am sad to see that entourage isnt on again until june. but i guess i can just start over from season one and watch straight thru a couple times. In closing, DRAMA is the MAN.the best episodes are the ones that focus on him. my top two are "one day in the valley" and "vegas". to all my fello entourage fans have a good one, and to anyone who hates on entourage screw off. nah im just kidding. peace out

Here's what I think:
1: Billy Walsh dives deep into depression after realizing his visions for films aren't successful ... only to come back late in the season as a "suit" ; a successful director under a new name.
2: Turtle becomes more of an enabler after realizing that managing entertainment is just too much work. He knows he lives on easy street and uses his position to become more of a Paris Hilton type socialite, which of course crashes down around him.
3: Basically, the chemistry that needs to happen is Vince-Good, Johnny - Bad . So as Vince grabs the BIG lead role, Johnny of course hits skids-ville with his new attitude and ruins his career... again.
4: Babs' plan all along was to get a foot in the door, then buy Ari out to erase him for good. Lloyd would have to play a big part in this, but I can't think of it now :P
5: E gets his Murphy Group rollin', then gets the opportunity to represent the new "hotness" in hollywood (which would be Vince's new competition). Hilarity and heartache ensue, ultimately ending the season with E choosing the new guy. *Cliffhanger anyone? :D
6: Vince dumps his casual laid back persona one night and scraps it out with 'razzi's. Which leads to Vince having to defend himself against brutal character attacks before his new project gets off the ground.
I dunno, stuff like that ! Lates.

i think season 4 was a huge disappointment...it just seemed strained which is a shame because i really like the show. i didnt even realise the finale was the finale...thats how much of an anti climax i felt it was.
i understand there is a lot of character development with every one in the show and lots of sub plots going on but i just didnt feel that it flowed as well as the first 2 seasons. hopefully the next season they will return to the good old days.
Posted by: adam at October 17, 2007 17:09
I think compared to season 3, season 4 was a major let down. In this season i fel E, Vince and Ari shud make Medellin work along with the fat producer (forgot his name). Probably Johnny Drama tying the knot. Silo being a major hit. and please, get some more hotties....Jessica Beil wudn't hurt. Ari, well, wud be grt if him and E & Vince could co-produce/ distribute a movie.and pls enuf of Dana Gordon. get someone new. High expectations from season 5. fingers crossed.

Wait - with only 12 eps shown, shouldn't there be a '2nd half' to season 4? Season 3 had 12 eps shown during the summer, then continued 8 more eps the following spring. Isn't season 4 going to follow that same path?

This show is great !!!
I live in Taiwan and I just read the last cut of season 4.
I say that becasue season 3 just ended here and I asked my friend who lives in US to write me the story of season 4 !!
Of course I will watch the show again once it got published in Taiwan !!
Feel sorry for Vinny that the movie doesn't look well.
But the boys will find the way out anyway, right ?
I'm dying to know how things go in season 5.
Can anyone share any info ?

i heard from a source that turtle dies in season 5. He gets in a drunk driving accident. This causes Vince to put his career on hold.

Yea, i was also wondering the same thing Madman, season 3 was 2 parts, i figured they were going to do the same thing with season 4 but now theres talk of season 5 starting in 2008. all i know is that i am addicted to this show. they really need to make the show an hour long once in a while, if not all the time. i hope this show continues on for a long time (maybe an eventual oscar for vinnie?). if anyone has any info on the continuation of season 4 or why they made it 8 episodes shorter than season 3, let me know...

Here are my ideas.
1. Vince and the entourage immediately head to Nova Scotia to start filming Silo, while praying back home Harvey can cut Medillin and save Vinnies career.
2. Medillin gets cut to perfection and become a box office smash. A true modern day 'Scarface'. People now refer to Vince not only as 'Aquaman' but now as 'Pablo'.
3. Madahorn is back on the table with a new director. Think Brian de Palma. The scrip is now amazing and E is the one that brings it to Ari.
4. With the success of Five Towns, drama finally gets a blockbuster movie offer. However, he screws it up somehow, but then gets a different role from someone like Ed Burns with a lead in an indie film. Maybe near the end of the season.
5. Silo ends up being a good movie, however it bombs at the box office.
6. Aquaman 2 bombs. Warner Brothers decide they want Vince back for Aquaman in a Justice League movie. If he does well, the lead role in Aquaman 3 could be attached with a high payday, think 20 million?
7. E gets a ton of new clients but by the end of the season looses them all except for Vince and decides maybe he should give being a producer another try.
8. Shockingly even though Silo bombed, Vince wins an oscar for best actor in Silo.
9. The girl E fell for in the 3some returns and another E-romance begins.
Posted by: Keith at November 26, 2007 08:53
I thought of one more.
10. Billy Walsh becomes obsessed with "brilliant" project. One that even a suit could appreciate. We never really find out what the project is but we know he wants Vince. All season we find out little clues to what the project might be. Vince, Turtle, and Drama are on board. E and Ari become nervous about another Billy Walsh project after Silo's box office results. Finally, to everybody's suprise, Billy Walsh's top secret Vincent Chase project.... is... a western.
Posted by: Keith at November 26, 2007 09:18
So i have two more. Props to JP Salvatori for his sloan and seth idea, im gonna play off that with one of my ideas.
1. Sloan and Seth Green now are couple. Seth has a (another) new TV sitcom in the works. His show has a lot of hype and great reviews. So Sloan and Seth are cocky and run into E and 3-some chick at a party. Then for like 3 or for episodes their is a lot of playful hate going on between the couples. Cat fight maybe? Then Seth Green's pilot bombs and gets cancelled after one episode and right before he and Sloan break up they receive the news that Eric's golden boy client is nominated for an Academy Award for his performance in Silo.
2. Josh Weinstein returns!! Apparently, his boy Heath Ledger is up for the second lead role in 'Madahorn'. Heath signs on to the project. Vince after learning about the new director, script, E's advice, and Heath signing on to the project, takes the lead role. On the set of Madahorn, Josh tries to repeatedly tries to sign Vince. Ari freaks, and eventually convinces Heath to fire Josh and sign with him. Ari, now with Heath Ledger on his client list wants to do a bunch of Vincent Chase, Heath Ledger projects. He sees them with George Clooney, Brad Pitt potential, movie star friends who frequently make movies together. Great press.

Absolutly brilliant show, over here (uk) were loads behind but thanks to the glories of the internet Im all up to date and seriously lookin forward to series 5.
I just hope over in the states the ratings continue there form, so we can all enjoy some more entourage, I dont think its all that popular over here (in general) Im guessing it's because people cant really relate.
I say the boys film an ep in England and more specifically in Birmingham so I can get a cameo....

NO doubt one of the greatest series of created and the best actors to fill the best roles.
Posted by: Brendan Gordon at December 2, 2007 17:41
Here are my ideas for the fifth season...
The first episode opens with the boys recently back from Canne with two items on their plate: Editing Medellin and getting ready to shoot Silo. While the work begins on Medellin there is a problem with Silo, Walsh is MIA. The boys learn through Walsh's girlfriend (wearing really skimpy and really tight undies) that Walsh had a complete breakdown and has disappeared (or if the show wanted to go really dark -- has committed suicide). The film is in deep trouble and almost canceled but Eric finds an A-list director at the last minute saving the movie.
The second episode has Vince, Johnny (who's show is on hiatus) and Turtle heading to NS to shoot Silo while Eric stays behind to work with Harvey on Medellin. Vince is annoyed the world in general but particularly at E for the apparent ease with which they replaced Walsh. While Vince is away shooting the movie E picks up a couple of new young actors just breaking into the business who were steered to him by Ari and/or Harvey. This also annoys Vince.
The next few episode start with Vince returning from NS and the run up to the premier of Medellin. Vince is kept busing pimping the movie on the talk show/magazine/radio circuit while E is kept busy with his expanded client base. Medellin opens to critical acclaim and financial success, when the dust clears Eric make a couple of million dollars out of the deal and starts to get some recognition from the industry.
The last few episodes start with Medellin winning Oscar nominations for Vince, Walsh and Eric. E begins to receive his own notoriety, this causes further tension between E and Vince. The tension gets worse after Eric wins an Oscar while Walsh and Vince don't. The Oscars finally bring Walsh out of seclusion and (while suitably drunk) admits to Eric that he was right about the cut of Medellin. After losing the Oscar Walsh is so pissed off at the industry he leaves town.
During all this Eric's fame lands him several new clients and Turtle becomes his second employee (his first is an assistant) after he signs on to manage a couple of musical acts. Johnny has a rough year, his series is in hiatus the whole time which prevents him from getting other work or earning a paycheque. Silo is released and bombs at the box office, furthering Vince's funk. Throughout the first two thirds of the season Turtle keeps disappearing, the guys learn why late in the season, Turtle has been dating the "fat" chick he brought home in "The Young and the Stoned" but he's been embarrassed for the guys to know. He says she has some kind of spell over him but he just can't get enough.
The season ends with Vince and Eric having a huge fight and either Vince firing him or Eric quitting, either way Eric moves out. This leaves Turtle in a quandary, stay with Vince or go with Eric. Johnny gets offered to lead in a new series, but it's on the USA Network and he doesn't know if he should take it as rumors are that 'The Five Towns' is about to start up again.
