Tonight's new episode of Eureka was tons of fun! Keeping with the second season so far, new love interests and renewed love interests abound while Sheriff Carter (Colin Ferguson) settles even more comfortably into his role as the guy that does the crazy scary risky stuff.

With all the invisibility hubbub of the A plot, B plots and character arcs were filled in nicely. *sigh* I'm a little distracted by the direction the second season is taking the good Sheriff's love life. Salli Richardson's character Allison Blake, so integral to most episodes last season, is- this season- again relagated to a back seat.

So the Carter/ Blake future seems pretty much finito. *sniff* Sad for me. *sniff*

Though- it's pretty cool how the PowersThatBe on the show have- I sure hope intentionally- put distance between the audience and Carter/Blake by putting her character *in charge* and making her all googley eyed at Stark (Ed Quinn) every episode. Not that I wouldn't make googley eyes at Stark- cause I do- but Allison's suppossed to make googley eyes at Jack dadgummit!

And I'm lovin' the continued presence of the fatherJack/daughterZoe (Jordan Hinson) bonding. Very groovy.

All in all- very good fun! If ya watched tonight, please let me know what you thought of the ep! There was so much going on and it's all good discussion material! Also- if you're watching on SPACE or SkyOne, please let me know that too so that I can direct conversation back in y'all's direction.
