22 Top Butt-Kicking Babes

Category: Chuck

EW.com has a list of the 22 Top Butt-Kicking Babes:

"NO. 22: YVONNE STRAHOVSKI as Sarah Walker in Chuck (2007)...She's an expert in hand-to-hand combat, advanced driving, and hot-dog preparation. Also: really good at concealing weapons on her person...and using them."
She might be the bottom of the list, but she's still there. Sarah's character has really caught people's attention, and I think that Yvonne Strahovski has been building up quite a few fans. Not bad for her first foray into television.

I have to say that after this week's episode, Chuck vs. The Wookiee, I'm much more pleased with Sarah and starting to love her just a little more. Her being stressed out about not getting fired from Weinerlicious, sadly refusing to reveal anything more about herself, even feeding her fish. She's starting to become a character, it's really nice. And I admit that even though they're looking for any excuse for Sarah to fight in skimpy clothing, the fact that the actress does most of her own stunts makes me like the character more.

I don't agree with some of the choices, especially for #1, but that is me. Also, your number is wrong in the post, she is rated at #24. Thanks for posting the info though, enjoyed the write-ups.

Jennifer Garner definitely should be higher than 11th.

I have to STRONGLY disagree about #22 (the girl from Chuck). She's had two big hand to hand combat scenes and they were extremely bad primarily due to her lack of fake-fighting skills. My wife even noticed because in the fight with Adam Baldwin the first thing she said was "oh my god, she doesn't know how to fight".

I know she's beautiful and all, but honestly take a look at those scenes again and even with the slow motion and intentionally obscure angles it's very obvious that she can't measure up even to tv-fighting standards.

Stephen, I'm amazed that she's number 24 now, because when I sent this post off, I literally copy/pasted the paragraph with the number in it! I'm surprised that it's changed, now I have to go through the list again to see what else is different from last night.

Cole: I actually tend to gloss over fighting in tv shows, so I'll defer to your judgment about her skills. I do wonder if it's because of her lack of experience (the actress hasn't had many big roles yet) or if the fight choreography needs work.

Didn't realize that it was an updating list. Sorry about that. Nice that you point these things (lists and such) out. They are enjoyable to go over.
